Hollywood Style Curls
A failsafe look for formals or prom, CURLS! Simple, stylish and super pretty. We love this look as it can be tailored to suit your style of dress. Whether you want vintage, old hollywood or relaxed and beachy, pop in your ZALA Hair for thick and luscious curls for days.
However, we love hollywood style curls for a super glamorous side swept style. To achieve this classic style, first apply a set of ZALA 20" - 24" Clip In Hair Extensions. Our Quadweft sets would also be perfect for this look for super thickness.
For these glam waves, you'll need a curling barrel on the larger side. Whilst your curling wand heats up, be sure to spray your hair with heat protectant to take care of those locks! Taking medium sized sections of your hair, wrap the hair flat around the iron and curl in the same direction to create that old hollywood style curl.
HALF UP, HALF DOWN
The half-up, half down trend is the happy medium between an up-do and wearing your locks out. This look can also be adapted to suit both curled and straight, which is why we love this look for formal hairstyles.
Once you have applied your ZALA Hair, spray with heat protectant and style as desired. Next, take two sections from either side of the front of your hair, and pull, braid or twist back to create this super cute half-up, half-down. For the final touch and added detail, finish with a hair accessory and spray with hairspray for extra hold!
POLISHED PONYTAIL
Out of all the formal hairstyles, a polished ponytail is perfect for a more sleek and sophisticated look. And, it's super easy! Start by brushing through your hair to remove and any knots and tangles. If you're wearing this style straight and sleek, simply gather your hair into either a low or high ponytail and tie with a clear elastic to secure. Hairspray to flatten down any flyaways for a super sleek finish.
Next, wrap a small section of hair from the underside of your ponytail for a wrapped ponytail look. Secure in place with bobby pins.
