1. What you need:

   • Plastic comb
   • Plastic or latex gloves

   1. First of all, make sure you have all the necessary items within reach so that you don’t have to get up halfway through the process.
   2. For the hair dye, you can easily purchase one at any drugstore or beauty store around you. In doing so, it is essential for you to know how to match extensions with your hair color. A beauty store hair dye is preferred, but even a drugstore brand will do if you’re not too picky about the hair color, or if you’re not trying to match your own hair color. Beauty store hair dyes just tend to have a much better range of natural hair colors which will make it easier to match your hair.
   3. Comb through your hair extensions, making sure that there are no tangles or knots whatsoever. If you’ve previously used your hair extensions, make sure to wash them thoroughly as well, as any styling product left on there can get in the way of your hair dye.
   4. Put on your gloves and prepare the hair dye mixture, making sure to mix the dye and developer well. Most boxes come with everything you need, even the disposable gloves and comb, but you should’ve prepared those materials too in case the box only has the dye and the developer in it.
   5. Time to apply the dye! Use the comb to dye your entire hair extensions, combing through the strands for a better effect. Remember, if you’re not sure if you’ve already dyed the area enough, just dye it again one more time. Make sure you add the dye to all the strands!
   6. After 25-30 minutes (or depending on what your specific hair dye says on the box), rinse out the dye with warm water.
